  They dont open on time. I came at 12 while their board says open at 11 but they close. I dont know about the food i tried subway cross the street

  I discovered this place 3 years ago, while living across the street. It was a great place to have some very tasty italian food, without having to fight the crowd.
  
  I was thinking of driving there for dinner recently, and almost changed my mind after seeing a review here. I did go there for dinner, and the food is still fabulous. I had the seafood medley special, my girlfriend had chicken marsala. Both plates were completely empty when we were finished, but we managed to save room for some strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was delicious, as well.
  
  I really don't think Porcini gets enough credit. Granted, its a bit hard to find, and you might not even notice it driving by (it's inside the Sherry Fronteac hotel- don't ask me where that name came from). The food has always been good when I have gone, the service was prompt, and it did not take long to get our food. I will still drive an hour to get there, when I am in the mood for some good Italian food.
